Jess Sluder
There is something lyrical or even poetic about the way Jess Sluder describes his work. “I get to start with an idea and finish with a product, which is what I love to do.” He’s a product manager for cosmobrandlab, a garment company in L.A. that makes apparel for progressive companies like Red Bull and Apple. “It’s a creative job and I get to work with people in every industry,” he says. The 30-year-old Salt Lake City native says he’s rediscovered his artistic past in the uber-eccentric, hyper artistic community of Venice. “When I moved to Venice I found a part of me that had been hiding for a while. I began revisiting things that made me happy when I was a kid, which is to lace up my Converse, ride my bike, and draw what’s inside of my mind.”
